Vision
My vision blurs when you stand at an umpteen miles away
And from your promised words now you falter and sway
And bear a callous look too, that's to my utter dismay
I wished to see through your eyes and with you to walk many miles
Where none but we could've buried all our past wrongs and lies
And started our life afresh with a strong faith, determination and smiles
Much water has flowed under the bridge since we first met
O Time, how elusive you're; if I had the power to hold you and re-set
So, I'd get all my happiness back and could turn my past into a pet
And again I could start my life from the point of the nought
And she be reminded of her promise, and of her thought
So I could live a life with love being tied to the celestial knot
The miseries of love can be well addressed with our noble thoughts,
When our vision is clear and together we sail on the same boat.
